Sampson Darko is the GCM evangelist of 5 churches among the Akyode people group in the Nkwanta district in the northern Volta Region. Farming and petty trading is the major occupation of the 12,000+ people there, about 70% of whom are idol worshippers.
The following is Sampson's latest report from the mission field. Please join us in thanking God and asking for his continued work:
We were able to raise a pavilion for the school. We however owed storekeepers a lot of money. We are therefore pleading for assistance from anybody who is willing to assist payment for the debt. The amount is 1,500 Ghanaian cedis ($272 U.S. dollars).
The Lord has been faithful to the churches, my family, and each individual. Please continue to pray for me and my wife so that we can stand against the challenges my wife is going through. Pray for the church to grow spiritually and physically. I baptized two people this month.
