LOVE IN ACTION!

For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. – Romans 5:6-8 NKJV

February has always been recognized as the month of love due to Valentine’s Day celebrations on the 14th of February. Even though some people misunderstand the meaning of love, believers also take advantage of the occasion to preach about the love of Christ. It is a time where we demonstrate the love of Christ in action and not in words only.
Ghana Christian Mission (GCM) in partnership with Compassion Christian Church in Savannah, Georgia (USA) embarked on a medical outreach at Bulenga in the Wa East District of the Upper West region of Ghana to demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ in action. This is a community of about 99% Muslim population. It is also home of one of the unreached people groups in Ghana called the Chakalis. Two of our church planters, Matthew and Abraham, are working among the Chakalis to reach as many of them as possible with the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The outreach was held from 10th – 13th February. After the 4-day clinic, about a 1000 people received various forms of medical care including general OPD consultation, eye screening, teeth cleaning, wound care, etc. Also, all patients treated received free medicines and were prayed for as well. At the end of the outreach, more than 80 people made various decisions to follow our Lord Jesus Christ (some accepted Him immediately and others wanted to hear more about Him before making their decision to follow Him). This outreach has really opened a great door for the gospel in Bulenga and its environs by the putting into Action. We give God glory for the team from Compassion CC, the GCM team and local health practitioners who helped to make the outreach a success.
Prayer points:
Kindly help us thank the Lord for the outreach at Bulenga. Pray that all those who came will receive a visitation from our Lord Jesus Christ.
Kindly pray for the team from Compassion CC. Pray that God will bless them and replenish all resources spent on their trip to Ghana.
Kindly pray that more hearts will be opened to receive Jesus Christ in Muslim communities.
Kindly pray for all partners and donors of GCM. May God continue to bless and open more partnership doors for GCM so that more of such outreaches can be held in more places as a tool for evangelism.
Kindly pray for all church planters and health workers of FAME clinics across Ghana.
Kindly pray for Ps Hayford Ahiabu’s retirement which takes place on 29th March, 2025 at Paradise Christian Church.
Pray for Ps Mont Mitchell from Westbrook Christian Church who visited Ghana for a short mission trip. Pray for God’s blessings upon his family and ministry.

We give thanks to God for his grace upon my family and the church as well as GCM management, both in Ghana and in the USA.
We thank management for the pastors and their wives retreat in Tamale.
In the year 2025 we started house to house evangelism and two people gave their life to our Lord and savior Jesus Christ, and they have been baptized to the glory of God.
In 2025, we continue sharing the gospel in the information center.
We have ten (10) communities nearby listening to us.

Pastor Ernest Nyador – Akplale Clinic
The year 2025 has begun with positive tidings.
The church was able to purchase some equipment for church services, notably equalizer and crossover; they would be commissioned soon.
Another vision for the church is to buy fifty chairs this 2025.
Church attendance is very encouraging as we intensified evangelism.
Our prayer requests are good health, more souls and stability for members’ handiworks.
We are very grateful to God for the gift of 2025. The month of January was very successful.
Normal clinical activities were done including devotions.
The enthusiasm for work is encouraging.
The quality of health care is a good testimony spreading amongst the communities.
Two more members of staff were recruited to boost the services at the facility.
The only constraint now is decent accommodations for the new recruits. Local management is working on it.
Thank you to the Fame Director and management for their continuous support with drugs, equipment and many items to the facility.
Pastor Sekyere Nicholas
Praise be to the name of the Most High God for the month of January.
I thank God Almighty for my life and that of my family and church.
I am very grateful to be part of the FAME Ghana family.
All activities of the week go on daily: that is evangelism, visitation, Sunday morning and evenings services, Tuesday and Friday evening prayers.
I have also attended pastors and wives retreat at Tamale.
We are asking for support and prayers to help us complete and build the church at Maame Krobo.
May the name of God Almighty be praised.
Pastor Kingsley Nyinam
We thank our Father God for ushering us into another year and seeing us through the first month of the year. To Him alone be the glory. No baptisms were recorded in this month. All church activities on Sundays and weekdays were all observed.
Prayers needs:
· Continue to pray for the Tatale church building as roofing materials are being procured to roof it. Pray for more funds for its early completion.
· Pray that more souls will be won this year.
· Continue to pray that the staff will exemplify Christ's life so as to draw more souls to Him.
· Pray for the early completion of the extension work at the facility to enhance work at the clinic

Pastor Paul Lawson
Another opportunity to give thanks to God. Graciously, He carried us under his mighty wings in the month of January.
My wife and I went to our annual retreat in Tamale under the theme “Fulfilling the Great Commission: A Mandate for All” Matt 28:18-20; 1 Cor: 12:20.
January in the life of the ministry was also fruitful. We visited and prayed with the chiefs in our communities with our end of year gifts.
More significantly, we visited the old ladies and men incapable of attending church activities.
We thank our creator for his grace and mercy upon all of us. January was fruitful and we are still engaged in our spiritual activities in the clinic.
On the 19th of January for example, I prayed and shared the word with a single parent from a nearby community who brought her daughter to the clinic for treatment.
She was happy because she felt so lonely since her husband abandoned her last year. To complete the process, my wife took care of the cost of the treatment. We hope the good relationship started in the clinic will lead her to Christ soon.
Prayer Request
· Pray for the rebuilding and extension of the church located in Yizesi.
· Also, to equip the church of Sohou with electricity.
· May the Almighty leads us into a glorious path.
· Pray for the staff for total commitment in their calling to heal and comfort others in the community.
Pastor Matthew Nwedo and Yahaya Abraham
Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ!
I greet you all in the precious name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It is with great joy that I share this mission report for the month of January 2025, testifying to the goodness and faithfulness of God in our work among the Chakali people.
God has continued to strengthen us in the field as we labor for His kingdom. Together with my ministry team—Brother Yahaya Abraham and myself—we have been actively engaging in evangelism, Bible studies, and prayer meetings, seeking to establish a strong foundation of faith in the community. Despite the challenges, we are seeing the hand of God at work, and we are encouraged to press on.
Ministry Activities and Progress
Church services are ongoing, and we have been consistent in our outreach efforts. Every Friday morning and evening, we gather for prayer, lifting up the needs of the people and interceding for God's divine intervention. Our Sunday services have been a great time of worship and teaching, drawing both believers and seekers who are curious about the gospel.
One of the greatest joys this past month has been witnessing the hunger for God’s Word among some members of the community. During our Bible studies, we have seen individuals asking deep questions about faith and salvation, showing that God is at work in their hearts. Our evangelism efforts continue as we visit homes, share the message of Christ, and invite people to experience the transforming power of the gospel.
Challenges and Spiritual Warfare
As we serve in this land, we are reminded that we are in a battle not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces. In February, I bought four sheep, hoping to use them as part of our livelihood support. Unfortunately, they were stolen. While this was a painful loss, it is a reminder that the enemy is actively trying to discourage us. However, we know that our true treasures are in heaven, and this incident will not shake our faith.
Family and Well-being
By God's grace, our families are doing well. My (Pastor Mathew Nwedo) wife and children, as well as pastor Yahaya Abraham’s family, are in good health. We remain grateful for the prayers and support we receive, knowing that our families are part of this mission and need God’s protection just as much as we do.
Prayer Requests
As we move forward, we ask for your prayers in the following areas:
1. Salvation of the Chakali People – That God, by His divine power, will touch the hearts of many and draw them from Islam to Christianity.
2. Breaking of spiritual strongholds – That any power of Islam that is ruling over the Chakali people will be broken, and they will experience true liberty in Christ.
3. Empowerment by the Holy Spirit – That the Holy Spirit will strengthen and empower us, and that our lives will shine as a testimony, drawing others to Christ.
We deeply appreciate your prayers, support, and encouragement. The harvest is plenty, but the laborers are few. May the Lord continue to bless and uphold all who stand with us in this mission.
Pastor John Newman Peni
Church members and church activities in Nkwanta have become cold spiritually due to the conflict in Nkwanta. The leadership of Nkwanta therefore organized a one-week program to re-ignite the fire in members. The revival took place at the same time we had the Pastors and Wives Retreat at Tamale. Even though I wasn’t there with my wife, the program went on successfully. This is a great sign of growth in the church and we praise God for building his church that the gates of hell cannot prevail against it.
Prayer Request
For now, the new church opened at Agric Area in Nkwanta is not able to meet for services because of the conflict. The members in that area have fled for their lives because the area is not safe for living, at least for now. We pray for God’s intervention and absolute peace in Nkwanta.
Pastor Daniel Liwamor
I want to thank God that the month of January ended peacefully. My entire family and I want to thank God for a peaceful beginning of the year.
Secondly, the activities in the month of January were the continuation of work on Bombari church building. That includes painting both outside and inside and fixing of louver blades – the total cost of which amounted to Ghc 10,900.
We are praying for the next steps that would also include, buying of a set of drums, amplifier and set of speakers.
We need your prayers support and any kind of help to achieve this dream.
Below are some of the pictures.
Pastor Nathaniel Napari Abdulai
Thanks to God for His guidance and protection over the Church (Loagri and Soo) and also over my family. I want to appreciate God and FAME for your prayers support towards my mother-in-law’s health. I'm also happy to say that she is doing well now and we are trusting God for His complete healing in her life.
Prayer Request
1. Pray for us that this year God will grant us grace to work and to bring advancement in His Kingdom.
2. Prayers for our member by Amadu who is sick that God will heal him.
3. Prayers support that God will help us and bless people to support the PCC Church in Loagri to be able to purchase sounds systems which we will be using for our church services and our outreach programs as planned by the church.
Bismark Kassatah
Glory be to God for His mercies upon our lives.
I bring you greetings from Ntrubo Area Churches.
God's merciful grace has seen us through this month even though there were many changes.
Let us appreciate the Lord for some of the churches in Ntrubo churches that are raising funds to build their chapel and to do maintenance work. These Churches are: Obanda, Abrubruwa, and Brewaniase.
The remaining churches have acquired land for their chapel buildings but are struggling with the amount to be paid to the landlord.
Prayer request
· we humbly request you to pray for the Brewaniase Church because some of the children of the people who gave the land to the church are encroaching into the church land after the death of their father.
· Pray for the members l have discipled to be committed to the church planting work we will be doing this year.
We are thankful to the Lord for providing good drinking water to the church and the community, the water project is almost 90 percent completed.
God richly bless you all and may the blessings of God flow in your life as the water flows.
May the blessings of God be with us forever.
Sampson Darko
We are grateful to the Lord for the new year and carrying us throughout the first month.
By the grace of God, four new converts were baptized.
We need prayers for their maturity in the Kingdom of God.
Pray for my wife's health and the churches’ wellbeing.
Pray also for peace to prevail in Keri and Nkwanta.
Pray for me that God's grace be multiplied to me for more souls to be won.
God bless you all.
Pastor Paul Akuteye
As we’ve said good bye to the old and welcomed the new year with prayer and gratitude, I believe it is a good moment to look back and reflect on everything that has happened in our community this month.
I am convinced that 2024 was a good year for us at Garden City.
It was a successful and rewarding year. We had great plans and expectations, however, not everything was possible to complete and achieve.
At the end of it all, we are satisfied and grateful to God for the progress and growth.
The month of January is a symbol for beginning and looking ahead towards our goals.
It is a month filled with possibilities and opportunities.
Spiritually, January is a time for renewal, where we can start afresh and let go of the past.
After 10th December, when the presidential results were declared, we observed 7 days fasting and prayers for a smooth transition.
We want to remind GCM about the 10 new elders who have prepared themselves to attend the Dunamics Bible School for training. We hope and trust God that our request will meet your favorably consideration.
Church attendance has gone down due to the stolen items from our vestry.
Our auditorium needs some special attention from GCM especially a short-term loan to invest into the roofing of the auditorium.
I am confident this year will become an even more vibrant and become a growing community reaching out to those in need.
Lastly, thank you for your prayers and support. I appreciate your comments and encouraging words; and also, your suggestions for improvements.
Please do not hesitate to give me your feedback and thoughts not just about this report but also about our ministry life.
Pastor Yeboah Ernest Junior
I'm grateful to God the Father, our Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit in each one of us for helping us to look on to Jesus Christ, who is our author and the finisher of our faith in Him.
The committee of the YLCC has met and decided to deploy other forms of evangelism to reach the lost souls. All related church activities are still ongoing.
The church and I appreciate the wireless microphones given to me by you and management. It our prayer that our God will help you and management to support us in your small and big ways in Jesus Christ our Lord.
We also ask you and management to remember us in your daily prayers.
We thank God, our Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit for the lives of the staff, patients and our families. We appreciate the goodness of God towards us during the month of January.
All activities are ongoing in the facility. Visitation is done to the general ward two or three times per week to pray for our patients and tell them about the saving grace of Jesus Christ. The staff is cooperative in discharging their various duties to provide good quality health care to our patients. If some cases cannot be handled, we refer the person to an advanced health center.
We appreciate all the efforts of Fame Ghana to continue supplying medicines to help us to provide good health care to our patients in Benwoko and beyond. God bless Fame health service as we continue to spread the Fame of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Pastor Akpese
