By Paul Akuteye, leader of Pistis Christian churches in Kumasi, the Ashanti Region of Ghana
It is a privilege to be pastoring in Kumasi, the blessed city of Ghana, since January 1, 2020, till now.
The Lord has been good to me, my wife, and the Pistis family in Kumasi. I am happy to announce the private burial of our late pastor of the Awomaso assembly that took place on the May 14 at Mankranso Kun sum cemetery in Ashanti Region of Ghana. May God richly bless you for your prayer support.
The pastor in charge of the Domeabra assembly was blessed to pay for the dowry of her spouse to the spouse parent on May 16 at Techiman also in the Bono East Region of Ghana. To God be the glory! The greater numbers of the membership of the Pistis churches in Kumasi are mainly youth. Most of them are students and school drop-outs.
Their parents too are not into gainful employment. But we are grateful unto God that during this coronavirus pandemic both the members and their parents were well taken care of by our Maker. They are all doing great.
The leadership of these three assemblies are involved in private evangelism. We have 16 members to baptize whenever this pandemic is over.
The leadership of the Pistis family in Kumasi is grateful unto the Lord and to our numerous donors and sponsors.
May the good Lord richly bless you all for your partnership and support for a brighter new year of 2020.
