As our hearts, minds, and news headlines have been dominated with coronavirus, many Christians are asking this one question: Why COVID-19? Several others have intensified their prayers against the spread of the virus, against death of the sick, and for recovery of the infected. Others also focus on social life, business, among many other things. But very few have really asked the question: What does God want to achieve out of this virus?
God, who is all-knowing and all-powerful, is obviously not ignorant of the virus. But He has a plan through the virus. In the days of Moses, the plagues had a purpose: to free the Israelites. We may not entirely tell what God’s plan is. But we can most definitely pray for the perfect and good will of God to be done even in this season of global COVID-19.
As we pray all sorts of prayers for deliverance from this pandemic, let us remember to also pray for the good and perfect will of God to be accomplished. Let us fix our eyes on our Savior, Jesus.
We in Ghana Christian Mission continue to trust in the Lord to accomplish His perfect will in our lives and that of our precious sponsors and partners who never cease to pray for us and support us in various ways. We share this prayer:
“Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.” III John 1:2

Testimonies about Bible
By Paul Tevi
Today is a day the Lord has made for us, in the Land of Manprussi. We got the New Testament (Naawunni Kunni Paalli) translated in our local language. The first missionaries visited the land in 1978, a very remote ground. Today we have several churches sharing the Good News. It has been always a dream for us to read the Good News in Manpruli. To feel, to understand, and to live the Good News in our culture. Henceforth, it is a reality. But “what a journey” to come to this end. We want to express our sincere gratitude to FAME Ghana who has made available for us 100 of these treasures. For those who were the pioneers of this wonderful adventure—the translators, technical team, and the sponsors—we are saying NPUSIA PAM (thank you)!

New Motorcycle
I, Pastor John Newman, my family, and the Adele Area Christian churches wish to express our joy and gratitude to our partners for donating a new motorcycle to me.
I pledge to use it to the service of the church, visiting, encouraging, and strengthening the churches under my care and in surrounding villages (and also winning more souls for Christ).
The church and I pray for God’s blessings on you all.
Thank you.
